The Palace has responded to ongoing conspiracy theories surrounding the health and whereabouts of Kate Middleton, the 42-year-old Princess of Wales. Recent developments have shed light on Middleton's recovery after she underwent abdominal surgery in January.

In a photo captured on Monday, Middleton was seen wearing sunglasses while riding in the front seat of a black SUV driven by her mother, Carole Middleton. Witnesses reported spotting them outside London around 9 a.m., with Middleton appearing low-key and her mother focused on the road.

The Princess of Wales was admitted to the London Clinic on January 16 for undisclosed non-cancerous treatment. Her last public appearance was on December 25, attending a Christmas morning service with her husband, Prince William, and their children - Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte - at Sandringham Church in Norfolk.

According to a statement from Kensington Palace, Middleton's surgery was successful, and she is expected to remain in the hospital for 10 to 14 days before continuing her recovery at home. The Palace also mentioned that based on medical advice, Middleton is unlikely to resume public duties until after Easter.

Addressing the public's curiosity, the Palace emphasized Middleton's desire to maintain normality for her children and requested respect for her privacy. They confirmed that Middleton appreciates the interest in her well-being but urged the public to refrain from speculating or seeking daily updates.

Meanwhile, rumors surrounding Middleton's health were fueled when Prince William did not attend the memorial service for his late godfather, King Constantine II. However, the Palace dismissed any connection between Prince William's absence and Middleton's health.

In unrelated news, King Charles III, William's father, revealed in early February that he has been diagnosed with cancer. The 75-year-old monarch is currently undergoing treatment and has been advised to postpone public duties. Despite his health situation, King Charles III has been seen attending church services and meeting with the British Prime Minister at Buckingham Palace.

In an official statement, King Charles expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support he has received since sharing his diagnosis, acknowledging the comfort and encouragement it provides. He also highlighted the importance of raising awareness and supporting cancer patients and their families across the UK and the world.

As public conjecture surrounding Middleton's health intensifies, the Palace reiterated that she continues to be "doing well," but emphasized their decision not to provide daily updates. The focus remains on Middleton's recovery and maintaining her privacy during this period.

The Palace's response aims to quell speculation surrounding Middleton's health and encourages understanding and support for both her and King Charles III.
