In an eagerly awaited Game 7, the New York Knicks fell short against the Indiana Pacers, ending their season with a disappointing 130-109 loss. Despite a heroic effort from Josh Hart and OG Anunoby, who both started despite their questionable statuses, the depleted Knicks couldn't match the Pacers' dominant performance.

The game marked the Knicks' first Game 7 in nearly 30 years, and the energy in the arena was electric. However, it was the Pacers who rose to the occasion, shooting an impressive 67 percent from the field. Tyrese Haliburton led the charge for the Pacers, scoring 26 points and celebrating his team's victory with confident swagger.

Jalen Brunson, who had a tremendous season for the Knicks, unfortunately suffered a fractured left hand during the game. He struggled to find his rhythm on the court, shooting 6-for-17 before being subbed out in the third quarter. Brunson's injury undoubtedly had a significant impact on the Knicks' performance.

Despite missing the previous four games with a strained hamstring, OG Anunoby made a surprise appearance in the starting lineup. However, it was evident that he was still affected by the injury, as he could barely move on the court. Anunoby's active status may have been intended as a psychological tactic, but it did not faze the Pacers.

The Pacers unleashed their offensive firepower, shooting a remarkable 76 percent in the first half, including a high percentage of three-pointers. Their depth throughout the series proved to be a deciding factor, overpowering the Knicks in the final two games.

While Donte DiVincenzo and Alec Burks had solid performances with 39 and 26 points respectively, the Knicks struggled to match the Pacers' efficiency. The absence of key players and injuries ultimately proved too much for the Knicks to overcome.

The Knicks had a promising season and came close to reaching the franchise's first conference finals since 2000. However, their journey ends here, leaving them with a disappointing exit from the playoffs.

As the Pacers celebrate their victory and advance to the next round, the Knicks will reflect on the missed opportunities and the hurdles they faced throughout the series. The offseason will be crucial for the team to regroup and come back even stronger next season.
