Jenner, a Fox News contributor, voiced her support for the ban during a visit to Mineola, New York on Monday, stating the importance of competing in the biological sex with which individuals are born.

Expressing concern over the influence of the "woke agenda" and the potential long-term consequences for women's sports, Jenner urged for immediate action to prevent the disruption of female athletics over the next 10 to 20 years. Joining forces with Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, who signed an executive order last month, prohibiting permits for facilities if biological males are on girls' teams competing with biological females, Jenner showcased her solidarity with the ban during her visit to Nassau County.

Blakeman applauded Jenner's support and revealed that they had reached out to her knowing her stance on the issue. He emphasized the need for fairness and safety in women's sports, stating that the ban aims to create a level playing field for female athletes. However, the executive order has faced legal challenges at both the state and federal levels.

According to the disputed executive order, all sports-related entities seeking the use of Nassau County Parks property for organizing events or competitions must explicitly designate teams based on the biological sex at birth of their members/participants. This designation can be either males, men, or boys; females, women, or girls; or coed, including both males and females.

Following the signing of the executive order, State Attorney General Letitia James issued a cease-and-desist order against the county. In response, Blakeman filed a lawsuit in federal court against James and the state of New York, arguing that her actions constitute unconstitutional discrimination against women and girls. James' cease-and-desist order was prompted by a lawsuit filed by the New York Civil Liberties Union on behalf of a women's roller derby team, denouncing the ban as "transphobic."

Blakeman remains confident in the legality of the ban, citing the protection granted to women as a federally recognized protected class. He highlights the enduring significance of Title IX, which was enacted 50 years ago to ensure a level playing field for women in sports.

As the legal battle unfolds, the controversy surrounding transgender athletes in women's sports continues to fuel debates across the nation. The outcome of this lawsuit will have significant implications for the future of transgender inclusion in athletic competitions and the protection of women's sports.
