**NFL Considers Berlin for Future International Game**
The NFL is exploring the possibility of hosting a future game in Berlin, as disclosed by Commissioner Roger Goodell. This announcement came ahead of the NFL's fourth game in Germany, indicating the league's interest in expanding to the German capital.
"Usually, I tell people not to believe rumors," Goodell remarked at an event before the clash between the Giants and the Panthers, as reported by the Associated Press. "In this case, I might say, believe it. We're working on it, but it isn't finalized." He added that Berlin is seen as a promising location for NFL games, and efforts are being made to secure it as a host city. However, he assured fans that this development does not exclude Frankfurt and Munich from future considerations.
When the league initially invited German cities to submit bids three years ago, Berlin did not participate. To date, Munich has hosted one game, and Frankfurt has hosted two, with Munich also set to host this year's event.
The game in Munich concludes the NFL's international series for 2024, which included one game in Brazil, three in London, and one in Germany. The NFL is ambitiously planning to increase the number of international games to a total of 16, envisioning a lucrative separate TV package.
