Netflix's highly anticipated new series, "3 Body Problem," based on the bestselling sci-fi trilogy by Chinese writer Liu Cixin, premiered on March 21. The show, developed by screenwriter Alexander Woo and Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, delves into the fascinating world of quantum mechanics and the three-body problem.

The story revolves around an alien species called the Trisolarans, who exist in a solar system with three suns. This setup creates constant chaos due to the three-body problem, wherein the gravitational forces exerted by the suns result in unpredictable and unstable orbits. While this concept remains mostly theoretical, similar ideas have been explored in mathematical and physics concepts like the hypercube or tesseract.
