Zeidman, a computer forensics expert who participated in Lindell's "Prove Mike Wrong" challenge, successfully demonstrated that the data provided by Lindell was not related to the 2020 presidential election, despite Lindell's claims of voter fraud and Chinese interference.

The challenge, which took place during a "cyber symposium" held in South Dakota in August 2021, involved contestants reviewing files to prove that the data did not reflect information related to the November 2020 election. Zeidman, who voted for Trump twice, discovered that the files consisted of random numbers and letters, including a flow chart on how elections work and a list of IP addresses.

Following his findings, Zeidman submitted a claim for the $5 million prize but was initially denied by Lindell's firm. After arbitration proceedings, a private arbitration panel determined that Zeidman had indeed proven that the data was unrelated to the election and ordered Lindell's firm to make the payment within 30 days. However, the payment never arrived, leading Zeidman to seek confirmation of his arbitration award in federal court.

During the court proceedings, Lindell's firm argued for dismissal, but the federal judge ruled in Zeidman's favor, stating that the panel had acted appropriately in upholding the award. Despite his feelings of skepticism, Zeidman expressed some optimism about finally receiving the $5 million prize.

This latest development adds to Lindell's legal and financial troubles, including a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems over false election claims. The ruling serves as a reminder of the importance of challenging one's beliefs and seeking the truth, even in the face of controversy.
