**Meta Unveils Neural Interface for AR Glasses at Connect 2024**

At the recent Meta Connect 2024 conference, CEO Mark Zuckerberg introduced a groundbreaking development in augmented reality technology. Meta is working on a "neural interface" designed to control its emerging Orion AR glasses through a wrist-worn wearable device. This remarkable innovation suggests influences from the technology pioneered by CTRL-labs, a brain-machine interface company that Meta acquired in 2019.

The wristband peripheral allows users to interact with apps on the Orion glasses through simple gestures. "Orion is the first device powered by our wrist-based neural interface," Zuckerberg announced. "This device enables you to send a signal from your brain directly to Orion."

According to reports from The Verge's Alex Heath, the wristband is slated to hit the market soon and will be compatible with Meta's other AR hardware. However, details on pricing remain undisclosed.
