In a heartfelt message, Melissa Gorga honored her late friend Matt Byars after learning of his untimely passing. Gorga, deeply saddened by the news, expressed her grief in a touching tribute, highlighting the profound impact Byars had on her life.

"Matt- Why didn't you tell me Matt? I'm heartbroken," Gorga began in her emotional post. She lauded Byars for his infectious personality and quick wit, reminiscing about his dream to pursue stand-up comedy. Gorga also recalled their shared moments, particularly the joy Byars brought her with an unforgettable performance of her song "ON DISPLAY."

Gorga’s tribute revealed the depth of their friendship, stretching back to Byars' late teenage years. Recounting their history, she shared, "I've known Matt since he was about 17, 18 years old. I encourage Matt when life is difficult. A lot of people call me 'Mama Karen' in Potomac because I love helping young folks." She detailed how she supported Byars during challenging times by encouraging him to pursue his education, which ultimately led to their professional collaboration.

Describing Byars' role in her life, Gorga underscored his prowess in public relations, stating, "Matt is wonderful, wonderful in PR. I do have a PR, Matt is not my PR, but I would say that Matt is in a line of my agent, my booking person, and it works for me." She praised Byars for his extensive connections and his ability to bring dynamic individuals into her orbit, attributing much of their joint success both off and on screen to this synergy.

Gorga's tribute also highlighted the personal and professional bond they shared, noting, "He's a bubbly person and, again, a very successful young man and powerfully connected. I don't mess with peons. Matt's a good guy and us together, two powerhouses together, we make great things happen off-screen, in family and personal life, and we also make things happen fantastic on-screen, as you noticed. We're good."

Through her words, Gorga painted a vivid picture of a cherished friendship marked by mutual respect and unwavering support. Her tribute serves as a reminder of the profound impact Byars had on those around him and the irreplaceable bond they shared.
