According to the officials from LA County health department, a passenger on United Flight 5591 traveling to Fresno was confirmed to have contracted measles. The flight took off from Los Angeles at 8 pm on Sunday, May 19, and landed in Fresno at 9 pm.

The infected passenger started their journey in Munich, Germany and connected at LAX. Health officials are working diligently to identify and notify individuals who were assigned seats near the infected passenger during the flights.
