Motorists in Franklin County can expect significant traffic delays as a massive super load makes its way through the area. Departing from Bixby Road, the load will traverse several major roadways before reaching its final destination in Hebron on Monday.

Beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, the super load will travel east on Bixby Road to U.S. 33, continuing east on U.S. 33 in the westbound lanes. To navigate the Gender Road exit, the load will temporarily travel the wrong way on the southbound lanes before taking the westbound ramp. It will then head north on SR 674/Gender Road to Brice Road and proceed north to the intersection of Tussing Road/SR 204 in Columbus. The load will finally turn east on Tussing Road/SR 204 and come to a stop on Freedom Way.

Groveport Police Chief Casey Adams has advised motorists to anticipate traffic delays on sections of State Route 317. While some roadblocks may briefly halt traffic, the roads will not be completely closed, with traffic flow being slowed only when the load is passing through certain sections.

According to Ohio Department of Transportation Press Secretary Matt Bruning, the current super load weighs approximately 390,000 pounds.
