WESTFORD, Mass. - On February 26, 2024, at 8:09 am EST, tragedy struck as 48-year-old Krista Bebezas, a resident of Westford, lost her life in a snowmobile crash in New Hampshire over the weekend. The incident occurred on the Bear Springs trail near Pine Mountain, where emergency crews found Krista after she crashed into trees. Despite efforts to revive her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Krista's passing marks the second snowmobile-related fatality involving a Massachusetts woman within a week. Shawnee Hollis, aged 39 and from North Brookfield, died on February 16 after missing a downhill turn and colliding with a tree.
