Dallas Mavericks star, Luka Dončić, expressed remorse for his costly fouling out in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics. With his disqualification, Dončić was forced to watch from the sidelines in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, leaving his team at a significant disadvantage.

Dončić, who had been a standout performer for the Mavericks throughout the Finals, admitted that his actions were not the smartest in such a crucial situation. "It's my bad, you can't do that, especially in the NBA Finals," he confessed. The young star acknowledged the importance of giving everything in the Finals and recognized that his fouling out was a letdown to his teammates.

In the intense matchup, Dončić contributed 27 points, six assists, and six rebounds before fouling out. Despite his impressive statistics, his mistakes in the crucial moments of the game proved costly for the Mavericks. Notably, four of his fouls occurred in the final eight minutes, including his disqualification fouls in the last minutes of the fourth quarter.

Reflecting on the game, Dončić expressed his surprise at picking up that many fouls within such a short time frame, stating that it was an occurrence he had never experienced before in his career. The Mavericks' star player acknowledged the significance of his absence and its impact on the team's performance.

Throughout the series, Dončić has been a shining light for the Mavericks, averaging 29.7 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. However, the disappointment of Game 3 serves as a reminder of the fine balance between success and failure in the NBA Finals.

The Dallas Mavericks now face an uphill battle, trailing the series 0-3 against the Boston Celtics. Dončić and his teammates will need to regroup and find a way to turn the tide if they hope to make history. Game 4 will require the young star to overcome his physical limitations, as he revealed the need for additional painkilling shots to be able to contribute effectively.

As the NBA Finals progresses, Luka Dončić's performance and ability to learn from his mistakes will play a pivotal role in the Mavericks' chances of mounting a comeback.
