### Dodgers on Brink of Championship with Bullpen Game Strategy

The Los Angeles Dodgers are poised just one win away from claiming a championship, facing off against the New York Yankees in Game 4 on Tuesday night. With the series currently at 3-0 in favor of the Dodgers, the team has opted for a bullpen game for this critical match, although the starter or opener remains unnamed.

Los Angeles' bullpen strategy in this game is expected to rely more heavily on bulk arms compared to previous games. This pivotal clash is the second in a potentially three-game streak at Yankee Stadium. In the recent Game 3, the Dodgers deployed six relievers to cover the final 12 outs.

Pitchers Michael Kopech, Anthony Banda, and Alex Vesia have all played in all three World Series games thus far, across a four-game period. Notably, during the regular season, the Dodgers only saw a pitcher appear in four games over five days on one occasion, when Banda pitched in the final stretch before the All-Star break. Banda has been utilized frequently since he joined the Dodgers in May.

While it remains a possibility for Kopech, Banda, and Vesia to make appearances in Game 4 due to the high stakes of the World Series, this would likely render them unavailable for a potential Game 5. Historically, overuse risks are reminiscent of past heavy workloads seen in the series.

Instead, Game 4 is anticipated to feature a mix of Brent Honeywell, Ben Casparius, and Landon Knack in prominent roles. This approach aims to give rest to the more heavily used bullpen pitchers. Monitoring the bullpen's usage against Yankees hitters will be crucial for managing future games.
