Legendary music figure Quincy Jones has passed away at the age of 91, with pancreatic cancer cited as the cause. His death certificate, obtained by CNN, disclosed that Jones had been battling the illness for years. The revered music producer died on November 3 at his Bel Air home in Los Angeles, surrounded by family members.

Jones leaves behind a rich legacy and his seven children, including Rashida Jones, known for her role in "Parks and Recreation." Rashida paid tribute to her father in an Instagram post shortly after his passing. She reminisced about his nocturnal habits, referring to them as “jazz hours,” a routine he adopted in high school and maintained throughout his life. Recalling her childhood, she shared heartfelt memories of finding her father composing late at night and being welcomed into his arms.

Describing her father as "a giant, an icon, a culture shifter, a genius," Rashida emphasized that Quincy Jones' work was a testament to his profound love.
