## Lando Norris Tops First Practice in Barcelona, Verstappen and Hamilton Follow

In the lead-up to the Spanish Grand Prix, McLaren's Lando Norris set the pace during the initial practice session, edging out Red Bull's Max Verstappen. Fresh off a win in Monaco, Norris clocked a time 0.367 seconds faster than Verstappen, as teams adjust to stricter front wing tests mandated by new regulations.

Ferrari's duo also showed strong performances, with Lewis Hamilton securing third place and Charles Leclerc following in fourth. Norris dominated the session, being the only driver to post a time in the 1:13 range, continuing his good form from the previous race.

Norris's impressive performance places him 0.576 seconds ahead of his team-mate, Oscar Piastri, who lags three points behind him in the championship standings. With the new front wing requirements presenting a fresh challenge for all teams, Norris leads the pack as they navigate these adjustments.
