Lady Gaga's law firm, Grubman, Shire, Meiselas & Sacks, has issued a statement addressing the speculation surrounding their decision to part ways with music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. The firm clarified that the decision was made proactively by their partners several months ago, dismissing any claims of client pressure from Lady Gaga herself.

In a statement shared via Page Six, the law firm stated, "The decision to part ways with Mr. Combs was proactively made by the partners in the firm a number of months ago as they felt it was the right thing to do." It further emphasized that the report suggesting client pressure was false.

Contrary to initial reports, Lady Gaga did not threaten to leave the firm if they didn't drop Sean "Diddy" Combs; the decision was entirely an internal one made by the partners. The rumors of Gaga being "too big to lose" were also debunked.

The decision to sever ties with Combs comes in the wake of recent allegations against him. Combs has been accused of trafficking as well as mistreatment of individuals who have worked for him. A former staff member alleged that he experienced disagreements with Combs, who supposedly dismissed differing viewpoints.

Additionally, Combs has faced controversy after a video surfaced showing him physically assaulting his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

Lady Gaga's law firm's clarification sets the record straight, highlighting that their decision to cut ties with Sean "Diddy" Combs was solely based on the partners' judgment and the firm's moral compass, rather than any external influences.

As the music industry faces increasing scrutiny and demands for accountability, this incident reminds us of the importance of holding individuals accountable for their actions.
