**Bucs vs. Giants Inactives: Mike Evans Returns, Tristan Wirfs Out**
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to regain one of their offensive stars as wide receiver Mike Evans returns to action for Week 12. Evans, who missed three games due to a hamstring injury, was listed as questionable but managed to participate in one full practice and two limited sessions throughout the week, solidifying his comeback.
However, the Buccaneers' offense will be without Pro Bowl left tackle Tristan Wirfs, who is sidelined with a knee injury sustained in Week 12 against San Francisco, prior to the team’s bye week. Tristan Wirfs had limited practice sessions throughout the week. In his absence, Justin Skule will step in to fill the void on the offensive line. Similarly, safety Tykee Smith will miss his second consecutive game due to a knee injury, after being downgraded to out this past Saturday.
On the defensive side, Tampa Bay will see the return of cornerback Jamel Dean, who was activated from injured reserve on Saturday after missing four games with a hamstring injury. Joining him in the return from injury is fellow cornerback Zyon McCollum, who has recovered from a Week 10 hamstring issue. Additionally, cornerback Troy Hill, also listed as questionable, is active and may make his Buccaneer debut.
Ahead of their Week 12 clash against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium, both teams submitted their inactive lists by 11:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, as required 90 minutes before kickoff. The Buccaneers had elevated linebacker Vi Jones from the practice squad the day before, creating a roster of 54 available players. Consequently, they named six inactives to comply with the game-day limit of 48 players.
