In a significant development for the iconic Empire State Building, global management consulting firm Kearney has recently become the latest tenant to secure office space in this renowned landmark. Kearney has acquired the highest two office floors, 78 and 79, encompassing a spacious 27,866 square feet.

The Empire State Building, under the ownership of Empire State Realty Trust since 2006, has transformed into a hub for finance and media following a substantial investment of $550 million in capital improvement projects. Kearney's relocation to this prestigious building is a testament to its allure as a prime business location.

Prior to this move, Kearney was situated in Seven Times Square. The firm's decision to choose the Empire State Building highlights its desirability as a prime commercial address. The lease agreement was finalized with an asking rent of $88 per square foot, reflecting the building's value and prestige.

According to the first-quarter earnings supplement of Empire State Realty Trust, the Empire State Building was reported to be 93% leased. Thomas P. Durels, the executive vice-president for real estate, expressed his confidence in Kearney's tenancy, stating that the firm's employees would be treated to breathtaking views from their new offices.

Kearney employees will not only be able to enjoy the panoramic vistas but also have access to an impressive range of amenities spanning 65,000 square feet. These include a state-of-the-art fitness center, seven dining options, a luxurious lounge area, basketball and pickleball courts, and advanced golf simulators.
