Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has issued a statement in which he accepts full responsibility for his involvement in a multi-vehicle accident that took place in Dallas on March 30. The incident has garnered attention as Rice's car was reportedly associated with the crash.

In a statement shared on social media, Rice expressed his remorse and commitment to cooperating with the authorities. He met with Dallas Police Department investigators to discuss the accident and stated, "I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities. I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday's accident."

According to Dallas police, a preliminary investigation revealed that the crash occurred when a Lamborghini and a Corvette, both traveling at high speed, lost control. The Lamborghini veered onto the shoulder and collided with the center median wall, triggering a chain reaction involving four other vehicles. Shockingly, the occupants of both the Lamborghini and the Corvette fled the scene without stopping to offer assistance or provide their information.

Fortunately, authorities reported that two people received minor injuries and were treated at the accident site, while two others with minor injuries were taken to a local hospital.

The Dallas Morning News reported that one of the vehicles involved in the accident is believed to be registered or leased to Rice. However, it is important to note that Rice's attorney, Royce West, has confirmed that his client is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.

Rashee Rice, a second-round draft pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023, had an impressive rookie season, recording 79 receptions for 938 yards and seven touchdowns. However, this unfortunate incident has brought negative attention to the young wide receiver.
