**Apple Preps New Screen Savers and AI Features in Upcoming Updates**

Apple has announced exciting new updates for its devices, with tvOS 18.2 in development beta featuring innovative screen savers and enhanced AI capabilities for iOS 18.2. Developers can now access the first beta of tvOS 18.2, which includes code-level references hinting at four new screen saver categories for Apple TV. According to Aaron Perris from MacRumors, these new options—Snoopy, TV and Movies, Music, and Soundscapes—are set to be integrated into future updates. Apple’s website indicates that the Snoopy and TV and Movies screen savers will arrive in late 2024, suggesting a December public release for tvOS 18.2 in alignment with this timeframe.

Some of these screen savers, such as Snoopy, will be compatible only with the second-generation Apple TV 4K or newer models. This update will add to the current screen saver categories, which include Aerials and Memories, as well as a Portraits option with clocks introduced in tvOS 18.0.

The iOS 18.2 update, which is also slated for December, will bring significant advancements, particularly in Apple's AI integration for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models. It includes new image generation tools and various Visual Intelligence-based improvements. Among these enhancements, users can expect non-AI related controls as well.

In related news, Apple's new M4 Pro chip has garnered impressive results in its first Geekbench 6 benchmark tests, outperforming the highest-end M2 Ultra chip. The Mac mini with the M4 Pro (14-core CPU) achieved an average multi-core score of 22,094, highlighting Apple's strides in chip performance.

Additionally, Apple's in-house 5G modem will debut with the iPhone SE 4, expected early next year. Analyst Jeff Pu from Haitong International Securities mentioned that this custom-made modem marks a crucial development in Apple's supply chain.

With these updates and advancements, Apple continues to push the boundaries of technology, offering users enhanced experiences across its range of devices.
