**Indiana Pacers Plane Diverted to Tulsa Amid Severe Weather**

TULSA, Okla. - A flight carrying the Indiana Pacers, originally destined for Oklahoma City, found itself rerouted to Tulsa due to intense weather conditions affecting the OKC area.

The aircraft, departing from Indianapolis, had to circumnavigate the tumultuous skies near Oklahoma City before making an unscheduled landing in Tulsa for refueling. "The Indiana Pacers team plane has landed in Tulsa. The Pacers' plane circled the OKC area before landing in Tulsa to refuel and will continue to OKC after storms pass," confirmed a spokesperson for the team.

The unforeseen diversion comes just as the NBA Finals are set to commence, with Media Day scheduled for Wednesday for both the Indiana Pacers and the OKC Thunder. Multiple flights faced similar fate Tuesday afternoon due to the severe weather, leading to widespread disruptions in air travel in the region.

While the situation delayed the Pacers' arrival to Oklahoma City, they remain on track to continue their journey once the weather clears, ensuring they make their appearance at the much-anticipated event.
