" This order focuses on quarantining the menacing Terminid threat and requires players to swiftly liberate four planets to achieve the objective.
The Major Order was launched on March 12, 2024, following the successful conclusion of the epic offensive in Tien Kwan, where massive mechs were initiated. It has already created quite a buzz among Helldivers 2 players, who are eagerly gearing up to undertake this grand operation.
The four planets selected for liberation in this order are Erata Prime, Fenrir III, Meridia, and Turing, all located on the eastern side of the Galactic War board. Each of these planets hosts a brand new mission type, which revolves around activating the Terminid Control System to tackle the buggy threat head-on.
Unique to these four planets is the absence of the usual 'Liberation' bar. Instead, they feature a 'TCS Installation Progress' bar, indicating the advancements made in implementing the initiative across these worlds. This distinct campaign is classified as a "High-Priority Campaign," emphasizing the critical nature of the mission.
The mention of the Terminid Control System in Helldivers 2 isn't new. During the recent operation to free the mechs in Tien Kwan, the TCS was already in the works, though the four planets were not yet available for battle. With Tien Kwan now successfully rid of the Automaton threat, it is presumed that the engineers from that planet will head to Erata Prime, Fenrir III, Meridia, and Turing, to install the TCS.
Gamers are eagerly awaiting the moment when the TCS installation meter reaches completion on all four platforms, unleashing the "Termicide" and vanquishing the Terminids throughout the entire frontier. However, given the twists already seen in the mech launch efforts, speculation is rife that Game Master Joel might have a surprise up their sleeve.
Helldivers 2 players can now embark on this high-stakes mission to activate the Terminid Control System, battling it out on the four designated planets. As the tension builds and the fight intensifies, only time will tell if the Terminid threat can be effectively contained and defeated.
