The Green Bay Packers had a successful Day 3 of the NFL draft, making key picks to strengthen their roster. With four picks in the second and third rounds, the Packers entered the final day of the draft with high expectations.

In the fourth round, the Packers selected Safety Evan Williams from Oregon with the 111th pick. Williams joins Javon Bullard from Georgia as the second safety drafted by the Packers this year.

Moving on to the fifth round, the Packers made two important picks. First, with the 163rd pick, they selected Center Jacob Monk from Duke. Monk will bring valuable skills to the Packers' offensive line.

Shortly after, the Packers engaged in a trade with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills traded their 163rd pick to the Packers in exchange for picks 168 and 219. This trade allows the Packers to strengthen their position and acquire additional talent.

Continuing their successful draft day, the Packers used their newfound pick from the trade to select Safety Kitan Oladapo from Oregon State. Oladapo becomes the third safety drafted by the Packers in this year's draft, showing their commitment to improving their secondary.

Additionally, in an unrelated pick, the New York Jets selected Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen with the 134th pick. Allen played in 35 games for the Badgers, making 24 starts and finishing his career ranking ninth on UW's all-time leading rushing list.

Overall, the Green Bay Packers capitalized on their eight total picks on Day 3 of the NFL draft. With strategic selections and a successful trade, the Packers have bolstered their roster and set themselves up for a promising season ahead.
