**Musician Chris Brown and Rapper Hoody Baby Charged in London Nightclub Assault**

Chris Brown, the Grammy-winning artist, has been charged with grievous bodily harm in a recent altercation in a London nightclub. Alongside him, fellow musician and friend Omololu Akinlolu, known by his stage name "Hoody Baby," is also facing charges following the incident, according to police statements made on Saturday.

Akinlolu, a 38-year-old rapper from Dallas, Texas, who collaborates with notable artists such as Brown and Lil Wayne, is set to appear in Manchester Magistrates' Court. The police have not disclosed Akinlolu’s specific actions during the incident but confirmed his charges are related to the same event involving Brown.

Brown, 36, was already in custody as of Friday and has not been granted bail. This development casts uncertainty on his upcoming tour. He is scheduled to appear at Southwark Crown Court in London on June 13, coinciding with the third day of his world tour, set to commence in Amsterdam on June 8.

According to the prosecution led by Hannah Nicholls, Brown initiated an unprovoked attack on music producer Abe Diaw at the Tape nightclub located in Mayfair. Brown reportedly struck Diaw multiple times with a bottle, followed by a pursuit during which he punched and kicked the producer. The violent encounter was captured on the club’s surveillance cameras.

Brown, who was arrested in Manchester and transported to custody on Thursday, spoke only to confirm his identity during his court appearance. His representative has not commented on the incident despite numerous inquiries from the Associated Press.

The artist’s tour, which includes performances by Jhene Aiko, Summer Walker, and Bryson Tiller, is now in jeopardy due to the legal proceedings. The first leg of the tour is set to start in Europe on June 8, followed by North American dates in July.
