In a recent interview, renowned actor George Clooney expressed his frustration with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, accusing him of making disparaging remarks about his career. The two had previously collaborated on the 1996 vampire thriller, "From Dusk 'Till Dawn," which was written by Tarantino and marked an early milestone in Clooney's film career.

Following his breakthrough role as Doug Ross in the popular medical TV drama, ER, Clooney transitioned to Hollywood, appearing in films such as "One Fine Day," "Out of Sight," and even the critically panned "Batman & Robin." Over the years, Clooney has been open about his mixed feelings towards certain projects, including his role in "Batman & Robin."

However, it was a recent interview where Tarantino allegedly questioned the success of Clooney's film career that sparked the actor's ire. According to Clooney, Tarantino named other movie stars and then, when asked about him, dismissed his status as a movie star and challenged his career post-millennium.

Clooney, who has since become one of the world's most successful actors, took offense to this critique. He stated, "He did some interview where he was naming movie stars, and he was talking about you, and somebody else, and then this guy goes, 'Well, what about George?' He goes, 'He's not a movie star.' And then he literally said something like, 'Name me a movie since the millennium.'"

Feeling slighted, Clooney retorted, "I was like, 'Since the millennium? That's kind of my whole f***ing career.'" The actor further added, "So now I'm like, all right, dude, f*** off. I don't mind giving him s***. He gave me s***. I don't mind giving it back."

Clooney, known for his versatile acting roles, has worked with esteemed directors such as the Coen brothers, Wes Anderson, and Alfonso Cuarón, among others. He has also ventured into directing, helming films like "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," "Good Night, and Good Luck," and "The Ides of March." His contributions to cinema have earned him an Oscar for "Syriana," as well as nominations for his performances in films like "Up in the Air" and "The Descendants."

Despite his achievements, Clooney felt compelled to respond to Tarantino's comments, highlighting that his career post-millennium forms a significant portion of his work. The exchange between the two Hollywood figures underscores the complex dynamics and occasional rivalries that exist within the industry, even among those who have collaborated in the past.
