Title: Fundraiser for Alleged Kansas City Parade Gunman Removed After Attracting Just $100

A GoFundMe fundraiser set up for Lyndell Mays, one of the alleged gunmen involved in the shooting during the Kansas City Super Bowl parade last week, has been taken down after only attracting $100 in donations. Mays, 23, of Raytown, Missouri, was charged with second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon, and other offenses following the incident that resulted in the death of one woman and left more than 20 others injured.

According to reports, Mays' mother, Teneal Burnside, initially created the fundraiser to help cover her son's medical bills as he underwent surgeries while in ICU. The family decided to remove the fundraiser out of fear of retribution after charges were filed against Mays.

Prosecutors in Missouri revealed that Mays and Dominic Miller, who was also charged in connection with the shooting, were strangers who began shooting at each other after a dispute at the parade. The altercation ensued when two groups believed members of the other group were staring at them, leading to chaos as shots were fired among the crowd, including children.

During the chaos, Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a 43-year-old mom and radio DJ, tragically lost her life due to a bullet fired from Miller's gun. Miller initially claimed to law enforcement that he had run when the shooting started, but later admitted to firing rounds when confronted with video evidence showing him chasing members of Mays' group.

Additionally, two juveniles were arrested on gun-related and resisting arrest charges in connection with the parade shooting. Authorities have indicated that more charges are expected to be filed as the investigation into the tragic incident progresses.
