Former Wisconsin Republican Party Chair, Andrew Hitt, shared his concerns about his safety and that of his family during a recent appearance on CBS's "60 Minutes." Hitt admitted to feeling intimidated when he signed paperwork as a false elector for former President Donald Trump. He expressed his fear of potential repercussions from Trump supporters if the courts had overturned President Joe Biden's victory in Wisconsin.

Hitt mentioned that he was apprehensive about being blamed solely for Trump losing Wisconsin, stating, "If I didn't do that, and the court did throw out those votes, it would have been solely my fault that Trump wouldn't have won Wisconsin." The former GOP chair highlighted the potential impact on himself and his family had he been seen as the reason behind Trump's loss in the state.
