Former president Donald Trump made a surprising appearance at a sneaker conference in Philadelphia over the weekend, where he introduced his latest venture - a line of gleaming, golden sneakers named Never Surrender High-Tops. Selling for $399 a pair online, Trump expressed his confidence in the product's success, which he claimed to have been contemplating for over a decade.

Trump's visit to the convention was met with a mix of reactions from the crowd, with supporters cheering and critics booing. This unveiling followed a New York judge's order for Trump and the Trump Organization to pay nearly $355 million in a civil fraud case involving allegations of asset value inflation for financial gain.

Additionally, Trump, who is vying for the Republican presidential nomination, highlighted the importance of voting during the fall election. His entrance into the sneaker industry garnered responses from Democratic opponents, with some using the opportunity to taunt the former president.

Available for presale were only 1,000 pairs of the Trump high-top sneakers, which quickly sold out shortly after their release. Trump even autographed at least 10 pairs of the limited edition sneakers. The online store also featured various other Trump-branded products, such as cologne, perfume, and additional sneakers, as Trump has previously been involved in endorsing products with his name.
