Disgraced former congressman George Santos has taken legal action against Jimmy Kimmel, seeking at least $750,000 in damages for purportedly misusing his Cameo videos. Santos, who was expelled from Congress in December 2023 and is facing 23 felony counts related to fraud and money laundering, accuses the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host of committing fraud by using fake aliases to order 14 Cameo requests from him. Kimmel then aired these videos on his late-night show in a segment titled "Will Santos Say It?" In response to Santos' legal threat, Kimmel jokingly expressed excitement at the prospect of being sued, stating, "Can you imagine if I get sued by George Santos for fraud? How good would that be? It would be like a dream come true." Santos had previously sent Kimmel a cease and desist letter demanding $20,000 for the clips that were already broadcasted.
