In a recent episode of the Las Culturistas podcast, comedian Michelle Collins discussed her experience as a co-host on the popular talk show, "The View." Collins, who was part of the show's lineup during its 19th season from 2015-2016, revealed that her time on the set was far from enjoyable.

Collins, known for her witty humor, admitted that she had previously refrained from speaking out about the issues she faced on "The View" due to personal reasons and a desire to take the high road. However, during her conversation with Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers on the podcast, she candidly shared her frustrations about her stint on the show.

The comedian expressed disappointment at never being invited back to "The View" and felt that her efforts to maintain professionalism, even after her departure, were not rewarded. She revealed that she was approached to film a brief segment for the show's 25-year anniversary episode, which she agreed to do. However, when the episode finally aired, she was dismayed to find herself featured in an almost unnoticeable tiny square on the screen.

Reflecting on this experience, Collins declared that she no longer felt the need to hold back her thoughts about the show. She expressed frustration and acknowledged that the working environment behind the scenes was not pleasant, stating, "It's like, listen, I exist, and I've played the game, but now I guess I don't have to anymore, so that's exciting."

Collins also mentioned that she had reached out to a friend still working on "The View" in the hopes of returning, but nothing materialized. She believed that she, along with former co-hosts Candace Cameron-Bure and Raven-Symoné, were being forgotten by the show's producers, who seemed focused on bringing in new talent.

It's worth noting that Collins is not the only former co-host to criticize "The View." Meghan McCain, who left after several on-air conflicts with her colleagues, has publicly voiced her discontent with the show on her podcast, calling the current co-hosts "crazy old people" who bully and abuse her.

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for "The View" for comment regarding Collins' allegations. As of now, there has been no response from the show's team.

Despite the negative experiences shared by former co-hosts, "The View" continues to air weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC. The show remains a popular platform for engaging discussions and debate on various topics.
