**Week 7 Fantasy Football IDP Highlights: Stellar Performances and Key Waiver Wire Targets**

As NFL action heated up during Week 7, several defensive players made their mark, delivering impressive performances that caught the eye of fantasy football IDP managers.

Ivan Pace Jr. stepped up significantly for the Minnesota Vikings, transitioning into a full-time role and making an immediate impact. On his first full-game deployment, Pace recorded 10 tackles, a sack, and a fumble return for a touchdown. His performance should position him as a top-12 linebacker in IDP leagues while Blake Cashman remains sidelined.

Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills saw linebacker Baylon Spector assuming a pivotal role with Terrel Bernard out due to injury. Spector, previously noted for his full-time contributions during Bernard's absence, stands as a valuable pick-up for IDP managers if Bernard continues to miss games.

The Green Bay Packers experienced a shake-up at the linebacker position as Eric Wilson filled in as the green dot linebacker after Quay Walker's departure in the second quarter. Wilson played every defensive snap for the Packers, racking up two sacks in the process. Should Walker be unable to return, Wilson is poised to be the every-down option.

In Houston, the absences of Azeez Al-Shaair and Henry To'oTo'o necessitated the elevation of Neville Hewitt and Jake Hansen to full-time roles. Of the two, Hewitt is the priority waiver choice, depending on the injury status of Al-Shaair and To'oTo'o.

The Indianapolis Colts faced their own linebacker challenges, with both Jaylon Carlies and Grant Stuard seeing increased playtime due to E.J. Speed’s injury. Carlies should be the primary target if healthy, followed by Stuard if the need arises.

Safety positions also saw significant changes this week. Evan Williams of the Green Bay Packers impressed by playing full-time snaps and leading his team with nine total tackles. For the Miami Dolphins, Marcus Maye stepped in for the injured Jevon Holland, assuming the starting safety spot next to Jordan Poyer. Similarly, Jalen Mills of the New York Jets filled a crucial safety role due to multiple injuries within the team, finishing with a notable 40% snap share in the box and ranking second in total tackles.

The Seattle Seahawks' Coby Bryant provided a standout performance after Rayshawn Jenkins was placed on injured reserve. Bryant took on a full-time role, leading his team with 11 total tackles and an interception. While this may be his peak IDP performance, Bryant remains a viable addition for teams needing depth at the safety position.

These developments from Week 7 offer valuable insights for fantasy football managers, presenting various waiver wire opportunities to strengthen their IDP lineups.
