Symptoms of heatstroke, as detailed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), include high body temperature, rapid breathing, throbbing headache, dizziness, nausea, and confusion.

In the event of a heatstroke, the CDC advises individuals to act swiftly by moving to a shaded or air-conditioned area, removing excess clothing, and applying cool water or ice packs to the body. Emergency medical assistance should be sought immediately to prevent further escalation.
