### Explosions in Russia Derail Trains in Bryansk and Kursk Regions, Causing Injuries
Tragic explosions over the weekend have led to the collapse of two rail bridges in Russia, disrupting train services and resulting in injuries and fatalities. The incidents come just ahead of peace talks scheduled to take place in Istanbul.
In the Bryansk region, an explosion late Saturday caused a road bridge to collapse onto a railway line, derailing a passenger train bound for Moscow. The catastrophic event led to at least seven fatalities and left dozens injured. Images and videos circulating on social media depict a harrowing scene, with part of the train crushed under the collapsed bridge structure. According to Alexander Bogomaz, the region's governor, the bridge was detonated as the Klimovo-Moscow train was passing through, carrying 388 passengers.
In a separate incident early Sunday, another rail bridge in the neighboring Kursk region was blown up, leading to the derailment of a freight train. This attack injured one of the train's drivers. Kursk's acting governor, Alexander Khinshtein, shared on Telegram that the bridge collapse occurred in the Zheleznogorsky district.
These attacks have caused significant disruption in the area and heightened concerns about regional security, particularly as they occur on the eve of critical peace talks in Istanbul.
