**Ethan Hunt Remains Unchallenged in Korean Box Office**

Tom Cruise's iconic character, Ethan Hunt, continues to dominate the Korean box office for the second consecutive weekend with "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning." The action-packed thriller pulled in an additional $5 million, attracting 688,160 viewers across 2,150 screens. This performance accounts for a significant 64.65% of the total weekend revenue, as per data from the Korean Film Council's tracking service, Kobis. Since its debut on May 17, the film has accumulated a remarkable $13.4 million from 1.84 million admissions.

In the runner-up spot, Disney's latest release, "Lilo & Stitch," made its debut with $1.1 million and drew 157,480 admissions over 1,034 screens. The animated feature has garnered a total of $1.3 million in earnings since it launched on May 21.

Meanwhile, South Korean crime thriller "Yadang: The Snitch" held firm in third place, raking in $450,067 with 61,940 new admissions. This popular local film has now amassed an impressive $23 million from over 3.32 million tickets since its release in April.

"A Minecraft Movie" secured the fourth position, grossing $178,899 with 26,250 admissions. The film’s total earnings in Korea have now topped $9.2 million, drawing over 1.34 million admissions overall.

The fifth spot went to South Korean action-drama "The Old Woman With the Knife," which added $142,121 to its total, pushing its cumulative earnings to $3.7 million from more than 532,000 admissions.

New entrant "Election Fraud: Act of God?" made its debut in the sixth position with $107,737 and 15,823 admissions across 140 screens, indicating a solid start for the politically charged documentary, which has earned $152,182 since its May 21 release.

Horror sequel "Final Destination Bloodlines" placed seventh with weekend earnings of $95,933, bringing its total to $516,929 from 70,307 admissions.

Marvel's "Thunderbolts*" continued its decline, coming in eighth with $91,758 and 12,515 admissions. The superhero film has now grossed $6.7 million in Korea.

Japanese romantic drama "My Beloved Stranger" opened in ninth with $80,836 and 11,822 admissions from 212 screens.

Completing the top ten, the long-running anime feature "Attack on Titan The Movie: The Last Attack" brought in $89,124. This addition lifts its overall earnings to $6.6 million from more than 884,000 admissions in Korea.

With the top ten films collectively generating over $8.4 million, the Korean box office shows strong momentum approaching the end of May, thanks to a mixture of major franchise releases and dependable local hits.
