In a significant development for Detroit's downtown area, Bedrock Detroit has announced that the renowned luxury hotel brand, Edition, will be opening one of its largest hotels and residential developments in the world at Hudson's Detroit. This highly anticipated project will mark the debut of a 5-star hotel in the heart of downtown Detroit.

Located at 1208 Woodward Avenue within the magnificent Hudson's Tower, the Detroit Edition and the Residences at the Detroit Edition will occupy all 45 floors of the iconic building, the second tallest in Michigan. With its striking design, the hotel is set to become a focal point for visitors, residents, and businesses alike.

Bedrock founder, Dan Gilbert, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, "Hudson's Detroit is synonymous with excellence, style, and grit, so it is only fitting that it will be home to legendary and iconic global brands." The Detroit Edition will offer an array of luxurious amenities, including four distinct food and beverage options, a pool, a large outdoor terrace, a fitness center, a spa, and over 16,000 square feet of event space. This lavish hotel aims to provide an unparalleled experience for its guests.

Additionally, the Residences at the Detroit Edition will feature 97 condominiums for sale, all located above the hotel. With their prime location, these residences will offer breathtaking 360-degree views of the Detroit River and downtown Detroit. Sales for The Residences at The Detroit Edition will be handled by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, with a sales center opening soon at 1225 Woodard Avenue. The availability of the Hudson's Detroit tower for commercial tenant build-out is anticipated by 2025, while the Residences and the Detroit Edition will begin offering availabilities in 2027.
