Despite facing significant legal troubles, including a recent New York civil fraud conviction that ordered him to pay $354.9 million and prohibited him from running businesses in the state, Trump has started selling the golden sneakers as part of a new venture. His total legal debts, including a defamation payment of $83.3 million to writer E. Jean Carroll, may exceed $500 million.
