Hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is reportedly angered by the recent release of a 2016 video showing him assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. According to a member of his inner circle, Diddy believes the video does not depict the full story of what transpired during the incident. However, he acknowledges that his main concern lies with the recent raids on his homes rather than the video itself.
The video, which emerged earlier this month and was first revealed by CNN, shows Diddy kicking, grabbing, dragging, and throwing a vase at Ventura as she attempted to escape from a Los Angeles hotel. Diddy had vehemently denied Ventura's abuse allegations for eight years, painting her as a delusional liar looking to extort money from him.
In response to the release of the video, Diddy addressed the troubling incident in an Instagram video. Although he did not mention Ventura by name, he expressed remorse and took full responsibility for his actions, calling them inexcusable and stating that he was disgusted with himself.
Meanwhile, Ventura, now 37 years old, took to her own Instagram account to express her relief at finally being believed. It appears that the release of the video has validated her allegations against Diddy.
While Diddy has not been charged with any crimes so far, he still finds himself entangled in a growing number of legal issues. The raids on his homes following the video's release have further added to his concerns. Diddy's spokesperson did not provide any comment on the matter when contacted by The Post.
As the legal proceedings continue, the public awaits further developments and potential consequences for Diddy in light of these serious allegations.
