### Detroit Tigers’ Crucial Game Moved Up Due to Weather Forecast

DETROIT – The decisive Game 5 of the American League Division Series (ALDS) between the Detroit Tigers and the Cleveland Guardians has had its start time moved up by seven hours. Initially set for 8:08 p.m. on Saturday, the game will now commence at 1:08 p.m. This schedule adjustment comes in response to weather conditions anticipated in Cleveland.

The series is currently tied 2-2 after the Guardians emerged victorious with a close 5-4 win at Comerica Park on Thursday night. Both teams will now face off in Cleveland to determine who will advance to the American League Championship Series, where the top-seeded New York Yankees are waiting.

Detroit's ace, Tarik Skubal, projected to be the forthcoming Cy Young Award winner, is poised to start on the mound for the Tigers. In Game 2 held at Progressive Field, Skubal delivered an outstanding performance, pitching seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits, and striking out eight batters.

Remarkably, the Tigers clawed their way into the postseason after being 10 games out of the final wild card spot in early August, with a mere 0.2% chance of making it to the playoffs. They turned their season around dramatically by winning 31 out of their last 42 games, earning their first playoff berth in a decade.

As the Tigers prepare for this critical showdown, fans are hopeful that their momentum will carry them past the Guardians and into the next round of the playoffs.
