**Detroit Lions Linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez Out for the Season with Torn ACL**

Detroit Lions linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez is set to miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL during Thursday's victory against the Chicago Bears, as confirmed by multiple reports including ESPN. Rodriguez, who played in six games this season, accumulated 43 tackles and two sacks.

In response to this setback, the Lions have moved quickly to bolster their defense. The team is signing former Pro Bowl linebacker Kwon Alexander from the Denver Broncos' practice squad. This information was shared by his agents, Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey, to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

In additional injury news, defensive end Josh Paschal also suffered a knee injury in the game against the Bears. However, according to initial tests reported by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Paschal’s injury is not considered serious. While he will need to undergo rehabilitation, it is not expected to be season-ending.

The Lions will need to navigate these injuries as they continue their season, adjusting their strategies and personnel to compensate for the loss of key players like Rodriguez.
