Adding Thursday's impressive numbers, the highly anticipated film has surpassed the $600 million mark, amassing a staggering $630.4 million at the worldwide box office.

This milestone comes with a bittersweet overtaking of another iconic film, Hugh Jackman's Logan, which garnered $619 million globally. Both movies share the distinction of being R-rated and have notable references to each other within their narratives. It remains to be seen what the stars, Ryan Reynolds and Jackman, have to say about this development. Social media platforms are likely to be abuzz with commentary from the actors on this achievement.

Looking ahead, this weekend is expected to boost the film's success further, with Deadpool & Wolverine projected to become the second highest-grossing movie of the year worldwide. Only Disney/Pixar's anticipated sequel, Inside Out 2, is forecasted to outpace Reynolds and Jackman's on-screen collaboration.

Breaking down the revenue, this Marvel and Disney phenomenon has earned $298.4 million domestically, while the international box office has contributed an astounding $332 million. The Shawn Levy-directed mutant mash-up continues to shatter records and is predicted to surpass The Passion of the Christ by the end of Sunday, becoming the highest-grossing R-rated movie ever in North America.

On the international front, Deadpool & Wolverine has already exceeded the global box office performance of the 2004 Mel Gibson blockbuster. While it is still a distance away from the overall overseas record, the film has the potential to enter the Top 5 highest-grossing movies internationally during this weekend.

For the record, Thursday's overseas gross reached $21.9 million, representing 11% of the film's opening weekend revenue. The top 10 markets for the film, based on Thursday's numbers, include China with $35.6 million, the UK with $32.6 million, Mexico with $26.4 million, Australia with $17.3 million, Germany with $13.5 million, Brazil with $13.5 million, France with $13.4 million, India with $12.9 million, Spain with $11.7 million, and Italy with $10.9 million.

As Deadpool & Wolverine continues its remarkable run at the global box office, it remains a force to be reckoned with, captivating audiences worldwide and solidifying its place among the highest-grossing films of all time.
