In a recent interview with MSNBC, conservative attorney George Conway expressed his dissatisfaction with the Supreme Court's decision regarding former President Donald Trump's Colorado ballot case. While the court unanimously ruled that Colorado couldn't disqualify Trump from the ballot under the 14th Amendment's Insurrection ban, Conway argued that this was not good news.

Conway emphasized his preference for Trump's defeat at the ballot box rather than his disqualification ahead of the election. He stated, "I would rather see Donald Trump beaten at the ballot box, and I think he will be, than him being kicked off the ballot." Conway explained that disqualifying Trump could lead to a backlash against the court and its ruling.

In a separate interview with CNN, Conway criticized the Supreme Court's decision, calling it "very difficult." He stated that the three opinions released by the justices did not make sense and failed to apply the law properly. Despite his disappointment, Conway highlighted that various courts across the country, including Colorado's Supreme Court, have made findings labeling Trump as an insurrectionist.

Trump, on the other hand, celebrated the decision, calling it a "Big win for America!!!" He deemed the unanimous ruling as a unifying and inspirational moment. However, Conway's remarks reflected a different perspective, highlighting the lack of solace he found in the court's opinion.

The Supreme Court's decision, while permitting Trump to remain on the ballot in Colorado, sparked contrasting views from within the legal community. With the 2022 midterm elections approaching, the ramifications of this ruling will likely continue to be debated among legal experts and political observers alike.
