The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is currently helping to combat a fire that has erupted on the Air Force Academy premises. The fire, located at the south end of the Academy near the Pine Housing area, has prompted CSFD to dispatch multiple units as of 1:45 P.M. on Sunday. At this time, there are no evacuation orders in place.

Officials from the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) have advised all Academy guests to steer clear of the affected area and adhere to any instructions given by emergency responders. The size and extent of the fire are yet to be determined.
