In shocking news, a Chelsea man has been apprehended by authorities following the alleged discovery of a vast collection of child sexual abuse material on his phone. Timothy Brown, 38, was arrested at his apartment on Saturday and is currently being held on $100,000 cash bail, as reported by State Police.

According to a statement released by State Police, a search of a memory card revealed an alarming number of illicit materials. Over 700 videos and more than 2,700 photos, the majority of which were found to contain child sexual abuse material, were allegedly uncovered. The magnitude of the evidence is deeply disturbing and raises serious concerns regarding the safety and well-being of children.

In an unrelated case, Kenneth Higgins, 45, from Revere, was also arrested earlier in the week on child pornography charges. During the investigation into Higgins, State Police obtained evidence that led them to seek a search warrant for Brown's apartment on Hawthorne Street.

Authorities have indicated that Brown and Higgins are reportedly friends, with evidence pointing towards a potential connection between their activities. State Police executed the search warrant on Wednesday, seizing multiple electronic devices belonging to Brown.

Assisting in the arrest, Chelsea police worked in tandem with State Police on Saturday. Brown is scheduled to appear for arraignment in Chelsea District Court in the coming week, according to State Police.

The arrest of Brown marks a significant development in the fight against child exploitation. Law enforcement agencies remain committed to combating the production, dissemination, and possession of child pornography, working tirelessly to safeguard vulnerable children from harm.

As this case unfolds, authorities will continue their investigation to determine the full extent of Brown's involvement, while ensuring the protection of potential victims.
