**Bubba Watson's Hole-in-One Sparks Double Charity Donation at Indonesian Masters**

In a heartwarming twist during the Indonesian Masters, famed golfer Bubba Watson not only demonstrated his skill with a hole-in-one but also contributed to a noble cause. The tournament sponsor, BNI, had pledged to donate a house to a family in need for every hole-in-one made during the event. Watson's remarkable shot on Saturday at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club spurred this charitable initiative into action.

Watson achieved his feat using a pitching wedge from 154 yards on the 11th hole during the third round. Adding to the excitement, just ten minutes later, Thailand's Phachara Khongwatmai echoed Watson's success with a 48-degree wedge on the same hole. This second ace meant that Habitat for Humanity Indonesia would receive another home donation, amplifying the tournament's charitable impact.

The two-time Masters champion, currently competing in the Asian Tour and aligned with LIV Golf, expressed his pride in contributing to such meaningful causes through the game. "The game of golf has helped tremendously around the world," Watson stated, referencing his sixth career hole-in-one. He emphasized the importance of golf in supporting various charities and acknowledged the honor of participating in such initiatives.

This marked the fourth instance in Asian Tour history where players made aces on the same hole during a single round. Watson’s performance propelled him to a 7-under 65 for the day, placing him third overall, though still seven strokes behind the leader, Canadian Richard T. Lee. American golfer John Catlin, leading the International Series Order of Merit, was just a shot behind Watson. The winner of this Order of Merit earns a coveted spot in the LIV Golf series for 2025.

Watson, who faced challenges in the LIV Golf league this year, finishing in the relegation zone, is striving to secure his position in the league through impressive performances in LIV-backed International Series events. As the captain of the Range Goats team, his future in the league looks promising due to his popularity and major champion status, despite the recent setbacks.
