**Bryce Young to Start Against Giants in Munich, Panthers GM Praises Progress**

The Carolina Panthers are set to start quarterback Bryce Young against the New York Giants in Munich this Sunday. Head coach Dave Canales confirmed the decision on Wednesday, marking Young’s third consecutive start in the 9:30 a.m. ET game held at Allianz Arena.

Coach Canales highlighted Young's progression and praised his performance, particularly his game-winning touchdown drive in the Panthers’ 23-22 victory over the New Orleans Saints last Sunday. "This is about the progress from one week to the next," Canales remarked. "He did a fantastic job of finishing that game the right way, finding a way to win and really battling that way."

General manager Dan Morgan also expressed satisfaction with Young’s development but remained cautious about long-term commitments. Morgan disclosed that despite receiving inquiries, he never considered trading Young before Tuesday's trade deadline, emphasizing, "I didn't want to trade Bryce." He added, "Every week we're assessing Bryce, taking it day by day of just seeing him grow, seeing him develop."

Young expressed gratitude for the continued opportunity to start and placed his trust in a higher power for guiding his career. "Obviously, my play being evaluated is out of my hands," Young said. "I want to do everything I can to help the team win."

Additionally, the Panthers plan to activate rookie running back Jonathon Brooks to the 53-man roster. Brooks has been rehabilitating from ACL surgery since his final season at the University of Texas. Canales suggested that Brooks might play against the Giants, as he progresses in his recovery. Outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum is also nearing readiness after recuperating from quadriceps surgery.

Young has a record of 3-17 as a starter and is currently 1-3 this season. Initially benched after an 0-2 start in favor of veteran Andy Dalton, the Panthers returned to Young following Dalton's thumb injury from a minor car accident. Dalton, now recovered, will serve as a backup on Sunday.

Canales decided to stick with Young for the upcoming game, focusing on the chemistry built with his teammates, particularly the rookie receivers who played a significant role in last week's game. "A lot of it is chemistry with the guys he's working with," Canales noted.
