In a stunning turn of events, Bo Nix guided the Denver Broncos to their first win of the season as they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a commanding score of 26-7 on Sunday. Despite not throwing a touchdown pass, Nix showcased his versatility by contributing a total of 265 yards through the air and on the ground, while sealing the victory with a 3-yard rushing touchdown.

The Broncos' defense played a crucial role in the game, limiting the Buccaneers to just 223 yards of total offense. Dondrea Tillman stood out with two sacks, disrupting Tampa Bay's passing game, while Brandon Jones secured an interception to further stifle their offensive efforts. The Buccaneers' performance was uncharacteristically sloppy, as they committed two turnovers and allowed seven sacks, ultimately falling short and dropping to a 2-1 record for the season.

Nix displayed poise and determination throughout the game, completing 25 of 36 passes for 216 yards and showcasing his ability to make plays with his feet, adding 49 rushing yards to his impressive stat line. Running backs Tyler Badie and Jaleel McLaughlin also made significant contributions to the Broncos' offense, combining for over 100 rushing yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Courtland Sutton led the team with seven receptions for 68 yards, providing Nix with a reliable target in crucial moments. Kicker Wil Lutz was also instrumental in securing the victory, converting four field goals to extend Denver's lead.
