**Bishop T.D. Jakes Experiences Health Incident During Sermon**

Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a minor health scare while delivering an extended sermon on Sunday, as announced by The Potter's House, the Dallas-based megachurch where he serves as pastor. According to their statement, Jakes is in stable condition as of Sunday night.

Footage circulated on social media shows the 67-year-old pausing his delivery and visibly shaking as individuals rushed to assist him on stage. Jakes, who leads the nondenominational, multicultural Christian church, received “immediate medical attention” following his hourlong sermon, as stated on his official X account.

The church thanked the community for the immense support and prayers, emphasizing the gratitude felt by the entire Potter's House family. CNN has reached out to The Potter's House for further comments.

Established in 1996 by Jakes, The Potter's House boasts a membership exceeding 30,000. His daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and her husband, Touré Roberts, who also frequently preach at the church, shared an update via Instagram late Sunday. They expressed relief, stating that Jakes was "already beginning to improve."

Sarah Jakes Roberts emphasized the importance of cherishing loved ones, particularly as the holiday season approaches. Touré Roberts added, “Today could have been a tragic day, but it wasn’t; by the mercy and grace of God, Bishop is doing well, recovering under medical care, and remains strong. We can’t thank you enough for your prayers.”
