**Bills' Allen Rallies Past Titans with Impressive Comeback**
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Amari Cooper made an impactful debut for the Buffalo Bills, scoring the decisive touchdown as the Bills staged a dramatic comeback to defeat the Tennessee Titans, 34-10. Despite an initially sluggish performance, Josh Allen found his form in the second half, throwing two touchdown passes to help his team overcome an early 10-point deficit.
Cooper's debut with the Bills was nothing short of remarkable. Acquired just five days prior in a trade with the Cleveland Browns, he caught a crucial 12-yard TD pass, marking his first reception for his new team. Ty Johnson contributed with a 4-yard touchdown catch, while James Cook and Ray Davis each added touchdowns with runs, sealing the dominant win.
Allen, celebrating his 100th career start, showed resilience by bouncing back from a subpar first half where he completed just 4 of 11 passes for 65 yards. He finished the game with 21 completions on 33 attempts for a total of 323 yards, recording his 26th career 300-yard game. This performance was particularly significant as it came against a Titans defense that had been the league's best against the pass, not allowing over 200 passing yards in any game this season.
The Bills, now leading the AFC East with a 5-2 record, turned the game around by scoring on each of their first four possessions in the second half. They overcame a 10-7 halftime deficit and a 10-0 start by the Titans. A pivotal moment came early in the second half when the Titans failed to convert on fourth-and-2, with rookie DeWayne Carter tackling Tony Pollard for a loss.
Allen then drove the team downfield in six plays, capped by a touchdown pass to Cooper. Cooper finished with four catches for 66 yards, demonstrating his potential as a dynamic addition to Buffalo’s receiving corps. Rookie Keon Coleman also had an impressive performance, achieving a career-best 125 yards, though one of his touchdowns was called back after a replay review.
The Titans experienced further decline with this loss, now standing at 1-5, marking their worst start since 2015. Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph was unable to spark the offense, despite starting in place of an injured Will Levis. Rudolph managed 215 passing yards with one touchdown, but also threw an interception and fumbled once.
Injuries continued to plague both teams. For the Titans, offensive lineman Jaelyn Duncan exited with a hamstring injury and linebacker Kenneth Murray didn’t return after sustaining a shoulder injury. The Bills saw WR Curtis Samuel depart due to a shoulder injury, with LB Terrel Bernard leaving the game with an ankle issue.
The Titans look to recover next week as they face the Detroit Lions, while the Bills aim to continue their winning streak against the Seattle Seahawks.
