President Biden has revealed that his decision to debate President Trump ahead of the November election will depend on his opponent's "behavior." Speaking the day after his State of the Union address, Biden was asked about the possibility of a debate with the presumptive Republican nominee. "Depends on his behavior," Biden responded.

This comes in response to Trump challenging Biden to a debate "anytime, anywhere, anyplace" earlier in the week. Trump made the offer on his Truth Social platform just hours after his last-standing Republican opponent, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, suspended her campaign.

In his invitation, Trump stressed the importance of discussing vital issues for the good of the country and the American people. He mentioned that the debates could be organized by either the "Corrupt DNC" or the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD).

The Biden campaign wasted no time responding to Trump's invitation. Biden's campaign communications director, Michael Tyler, dismissed Trump's thirst for attention and stated that discussions would take place at the appropriate time in the election cycle. Mocking Trump, Tyler invited him to watch the State of the Union address, which took place on Thursday night.

During the address, Biden mentioned Trump nearly a dozen times, always referring to him as "my predecessor" instead of using his name. Trump, on the other hand, gave a live play-by-play reaction to Biden's speech, criticizing his performance and calling him "mentally disturbed" and "angry."

The feud between Biden and Trump continues to escalate as the election date draws near. Biden's decision to debate Trump hinges on the latter's behavior, while Trump seeks opportunities to criticize the current president.
