The Chicago Bears' defense is gearing up for another challenging season as they face a diverse mix of quarterbacks, ranging from rookies to seasoned veterans. Defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus will look to capitalize on weaknesses and dominate when facing less experienced signal-callers, while preparing for the tough tests posed by some of the league's top quarterbacks.

Starting from the bottom of the list, the Bears will take on JJ McCarthy or Sam Darnold of the Minnesota Vikings, who are predicted to have the weakest quarterback situation this season. McCarthy, as a rookie, may need time to develop before stepping into an impactful role, while Darnold's performance may not strike fear in opponents.

Next, the Bears will go up against Will Levis of the Tennessee Titans, who surprised with his limited success in previous seasons. However, doubts remain about his ability to establish himself as a legitimate QB1 in the NFL.

Drake Maye of the New England Patriots is the first rookie quarterback on the list. While he is regarded as a better prospect overall compared to Jayden Daniels, Maye's success may be hindered by the offensive talent surrounding him.

Bryce Young of the Carolina Panthers, another young quarterback, is expected to bounce back from a challenging season plagued by organizational dysfunction and lackluster playcalling. Young's progression this year will be crucial for the Panthers' success.

Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders follows as the third rookie quarterback. Though doubts persist about his potential to become an elite NFL QB, Daniels enters a favorable position with adequate talent around him, presenting an opportunity for success as a rookie.

Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts is ranked ninth on the list. Despite limited playing time, Richardson has displayed promise and is poised to have a strong second season with a solid supporting cast.

Geno Smith of the Seattle Seahawks lands in the eighth spot. However, his position is influenced more by the inexperience of the quarterbacks behind him rather than his own skill. Smith's performance may decline, and he could face competition from Sam Howell for the starting role.

Moving up the rankings, Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals is placed seventh. While not considered elite, Murray possesses solid quarterback skills and athleticism, making him capable of delivering impressive performances with an improved supporting staff.

Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions takes sixth place, having excelled statistically in recent seasons under Ben Johnson's offense. However, the Bears have proven their ability to pressure Goff effectively, leading to successful defensive outings.

Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers, with 21 career starts, holds considerable experience compared to other quarterbacks on the list. While some question Purdy's abilities, his pocket presence, decision-making, and execution keep him playing at a high level.

Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers lands in fourth place, possessing physical gifts that set him apart. Love aims to build on a strong second half of the previous season and strive toward becoming a top-ten quarterback in the NFL.

In the top three, the Bears will face Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who still showcases promise despite falling short of initial expectations. The game against Lawrence is positioned as a "home" match in London, where the Jaguars feel more comfortable playing.

Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams, notorious for his dominating performance against the Bears in week one of last season, secures the second spot. Although Stafford has aged, his ability to make plays out of seemingly nothing continues to make him a formidable opponent.

The top-ranked quarterback the Bears will face is C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans. Stroud's rookie season has been hailed as the greatest the league has ever witnessed, and his partnership with offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik is expected to yield impressive results. With an enhanced supporting cast, Stroud may even be a contender for the MVP award if the Texans make a deep playoff run.

As the Bears prepare to face a variety of inexperienced and seasoned quarterbacks, their formidable defense will face the challenge of exploiting weaknesses in the former while devising strategies to contain and neutralize the talents of the latter. The outcome of these matchups will undoubtedly play a significant role in determining the success of the Bears' defense throughout the season.
